December 2009: Signalion continues to grow LTE business in 2009

20 years after the German unification Signalion is seen as a good example of new companies based in East Germany that founded successful businesses. Despite the worldwide economic crisis Signalion was able to increase both revenues as well as the headcount to over 100 people in 2009. November 2009: Signalion expands in Asia Pacific by opening new subsidiary in Japan

Signalion, the established provider of air-interface diagnostics solutions for 3GPP LTE, today announced it has established its new subsidiary Signalion Japan K.K. based in central Yokohama, Japan. October 2009: Signalion supports LTE Advanced showcase at the third ITU-Workshop on IMT-Advanced

As a member of the Easy-C consortium Signalion supported a live demonstration of LTE advanced techniques at a showcase at the third ITU- Workshop on IMT-Advanced in Dresden. September 2009: Signalion Sorbas eNodeB test products provide dual-mode support for 3GPP LTE FDD & TDD

Signalion announces its Sorbas Test-UE products being compliant with the March’09 Release of the 3GPP LTE standard. The Sorbas Test-UE now simultaneously supports TD-LTE as well as the FDD mode. March 2009: Rohde & Schwarz and Signalion demonstrate HD video streaming over LTE

February 2009: MWC - Signalion demonstrates with Agilent & Anite

Agilent Technologies and Anite today announced they will demonstrate 3GPP LTE interoperability showing end-to-end streaming video with LTE UE devices from Signalion and Blue Wonder Communications. read more ->

February 2009: MWC - Signalion demonstrates first TDD-LTE call with Alcatel-Lucent

Signalion will demonstrate a TD-LTE transmission via a Sorbas Test-UE and an eNB. In this live demonstration, Alcatel-Lucent will provide the TD-LTE infrastructure equipment and Signalion will provide the TD-LTE test UE. In 2H2008, Alcatel-Lucent and Signalion completed TD-LTE test calls with Signalion’s Sorbas Test-UE. This was the first TD-LTE call realized between a TD-LTE eNB and a Test-UE. read more ->
