Signalion enhances LTE-eNB Test Tool with protocol test suite for higher layer testing

Signalion GmbH today announced the official release of a Layer 3 protocol option for the Sorbas LTE Test-UE at the LTE World Summit in Berlin. With this additional functionality Signalion now offers test solutions for all eNB protocol layers. Customers may choose from a large collection of protocol test cases and benefit from the easy-to-use GUI. Having passed the IOT with the Rohde&Schwarz protocol tester Signalion’s Layer 3 protocol option for the SORBAS LTE Test-UE is a well proven reference.

Signalion responds to this request by enhancing its test capabilities to protocol tests. With this protocol test suite Signalion provides the first time complete UE functionality. The first Layer 3 demonstration can be seen at LTE World Summit where Signalion exhibits at stand number 19 in the Hotel Palace, Berlin, from May 18th to 20th.
