Long Term Evolution - Signalion supports LTE-Advanced-Show-Case at ICC 2009

One of the most important high-tech events for information and communication technologies worldwide will be hosted in Dresden next week. Approximately 1500 technical and finance experts will meet at the ICC in Dresden to discuss the future of digital communications. One hot topic of that conference is expected to be the 3GPP standard Long Term Evolution (LTE). Topics will range from using the existing frequencies more efficiently to continuously increasing the data rates for new developments such as LTE.

Signalion GmbH is proud to announce that it sponsors the International Conference on Communications IEEE ICC 2009 and will exhibit at the International Congress Centre Dresden from June 14th to 18th.

While LTE has not yet been officially launched, researchers at the Technical University of Dresden have already started a testbed for the standard beyond: LTE-Advanced.
These field trials have been supported by Signalion providing hardware and software solutions for this largest European field trial of LTE Advanced.
