PHY-Reference Design and implementation specific performance analysis for a IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n combo solution for a leading supplier of WLAN chipsets.

DAB Reference signal generation

Design and generation of some DAB reference signal for a measurement equipment manufacturer. This consulting project enabled the partner to serve their customers needs for transmission of standard-conform DAB signals with a signal generator.

OFDM-based Air-Interface Prototype

Complete implementation of the physical layer and the MAC layer of an OFDM air-interface system based on Signalion‘s platform with customer specific tailorization of the MAC to enable a demonstration of a seamles UMTS to WLAN hand-off.
This consulting included:

  • MATLAB reference simulation (transmitter and receiver design)
  • Floating point/fixed point performance analysis, and
  • Complete implementation of a WLAN air interface on the signalion prototyping hardware
  • Support of the customer during the integration phase
